High Expectations Aerial Arts

Makeup for the (Aerial) Stage
with Priscilla Robirds

October 19 (Saturday)
at 3:00 pm

Class length
90 minutes

As aerialists, we spend an incredible amount of time crafting our choreography, choosing our songs, and picking out our costumes. Our primary goal is to create a stunning performance with immaculate visuals. What else is there to think about? Oh yeah, makeup!

Makeup is a huge aspect of putting together a performance look and can add to your costume as a whole and ensure that the audience can see your facial expressions, even when you’re hanging upside down 20 feet in the air. Makeup is not something we typically think about until performance day, but practicing your makeup look is as essential as practicing your routine!

Come learn how to take your everyday or date-night makeup and turn up the intensity for the stage.

Cost: $15

What to Bring:

Please note that you ARE REQUIRED to bring your makeup and makeup tools (personal mirrors, brushes, beauty blenders, etc). There will NOT be makeup or tools provided for you.

Please see below for a list of recommended items. Do not feel like you need every product on the list. We will be able to construct a successful stage makeup look with whatever you bring; however, if you have been looking for a reason to go out and buy a makeup product you don’t currently have, this might be a good excuse to purchase it!
