High Expectations does not offer refunds or credits for no-shows. Twenty-four-hour advance notice is required to cancel a group or private lesson.
Memberships renew monthly for the duration of the membership. When you purchase a youth membership, you are committing to paying monthly for the duration of the school year. Cancellations mid-year will not result in a refund or cessation of monthly payments. You will be responsible to pay the remainder of the membership fees for the school year.
Group class sizes are small and if you cancel last minute you are taking a spot that could have gone to another student. For group class cancellations with less than 24-hour notice, the class will be forfeited. Cancellations prior to 24 hours will result in a credit to your account that can be used for a future class. For class series, cancellations must occur 48 hours prior to the first class in the series. Refunds or credits will not be issued once the series has begun.
We require 24-hour notice to cancel or reschedule a private lesson. Cancellations with less than 24 hours advance notice will be charged. If you have a recurring private lesson, you must give 48-hour notice if you will not attend your lesson, otherwise, you will be responsible to pay for that lesson.
For summer camps, if you cancel 14+ days before the first day of camp, you can receive a credit/refund minus $100 administrative processing fee. Cancellations within the 14 days prior to the first day of camp will not be refundable.
The only exception to these policies is in the event of COVID-19 symptoms. If you start to experience any symptoms related to COVID-19 (fever/chills, persistent cough, vomiting/diarrhea, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, muscle aching not related to exercise, sore throat, or new loss of taste and smell), please notify the studio owner or your instructor and do not come to class. You will receive class credit for your class or lesson.
