Tippy Time - Tippy Lyra Explorations
with Crystal Jones

This workshop will cover various levels of tricks and explorations on tippy lyra, including various mount techniques, spins, poses, dismount techniques, and tricks.

Due to the specialty nature of this apparatus, it is recommended that participants have prior experience with aerial lyra or a similar apparatus, as well as the ability to perform either an inversion or pull-over mount on their primary apparatus. Various progressions will be given throughout, and participants will have the ability to freestyle at the end, as well as take photos/video.

About the Instructor: Crystal Jones (@the.aerial.crystal on Instagram) is from Columbia, MO, and started exploring pole and aerial dance in 2019 when she took her first pole class. She started in pole classes, then discovered lyra, which has led her to explore so many other aerial apparatuses, including her favorite, the aerial cube. 

She loves performing and competing and has most recently graced the Vertical Desires, Michelle Mynx Extravaganza, International PoleCon, Dance Filthy USA, Bittersweet Productions, and Aurora STL stages. She holds multiple titles for pole and aerial, and when she is not working on a performance or competition piece, you can find her working diligently behind the scenes as the founder and owner of the Aerial Star Organization.
